Odd jobs.
Stuff I've done that might surprise you.
Not everything shows up on a CV. Before — and sometimes alongside — the web career, there were some chapters that had nothing to do with JavaScript.
Away From Keyboard
I "acted" as an IT-worker using a mouse rigged with electricity. There was a special button on the mouse that would give me a shock. This was filmed as a commercial to help Gjensidige's IT recruitment.
Acting in Halvbroren
I worked as an extra in Halvbroren, a Norwegian mini series, doing two different parts on set. A small role in a real production — memorable for all the right reasons.
The voice for "This is Enonic"
Enonic created a promotional video where I contributed both voice work and some on-screen acting. This video was used when we recruited new employees.
Bartending, restaurants & hotels across Oslo
For well over a year I worked all over Oslo and the surrounding area — bartending, events, restaurant service, waiting tables, and hotel work. Every venue had its own crowd and its own rhythm. It was exhausting, social, and one of the best educations in people I've ever had.
Web Shop Boys
A band born inside the office. At Impera we wrote and recorded 3–5 songs purely for the amusement of our coworkers. All of them were famous tracks — but every lyric was repurposed to poke fun at our work, our tools, and the daily grind. They were an instant hit in the lunch room. Links will be added later.
Truck driver — candy & hospitals
My first real job after years of school was spent inside a forklift. I worked in two very different industries — a candy warehouse and a hospital supply chain — doing various forklift and truck driving roles. Early mornings, physical work, and a solid lesson that every job deserves to be done properly.
"FFU The Game" - Voice acting
Voiced myself and multiple characters in a game based on FFUniverse, created by one of our many members. It was a platforming game where you played my, as "Webmaster", platforming through a very complicated game, meeting multiple characters from our community.
