This talk was held at Gjensidige Tech-day 2026, a full-day internal developer conference bringing together engineers from Sweden, Denmark and Norway — close to 300 people in total. The session on Bun had nearly 100 people in the room.

Bun is a fast all-in-one JavaScript runtime, bundler, test runner, and package manager. This talk covered:

• Why Bun was created and what problems it solves
• Performance comparisons with Node.js
• Where Bun fits in a modern front-end stack
• Practical examples using Bun in day-to-day development
